Swarovski Launches Under-the-sea Inspired Jewelry Collection

The world-renowned jewelry brand Swarovski recently unveiled its latest jewelry collection which has some under-the-sea inspiration. Called the SS16 jewelry collection, Swarovski has used various hues of turquoise, aquamarine and bold pink for the collection. These colors have associated with the sea. The jewelry brand has used some dramatic shades and shapes in the collection that emulate the aquatic flora, proving that the jewelry brand has brought out a collection that’s daring, energetic as well as colorful.
Explaining why the brand chose the sea as their inspiration, Swarovski’s creative director, Nathalie Colin said that the sea is wholly organic. There is endless beauty underwater which is a perfect inspiration for the brand’s spring/summer jewelry collection. She also added that each piece in the collection is sophisticated, feminine and elegant that is perfect for every occasion.
In the collection, an old favorite has been given a seasonal twist. The Stardust and Slake bangles have been drawn together in a braided, textured bracelet and it is available in various shades. In the new bracelet, the Slake Dot is a key feature where a crystal is cut in a unique way to give a striking effect. Swarovski has also used geometric shapes and coral-like contours in this latest collection.
