The Emmys 2015 went off to a glittering start. We saw the best of American television actors step out of their famous characters and walk the red carpet in all majesty. There was no dearth of best dressers this time as every few minutes we saw a sparkling entrant grace the red carpet. This year’s list of best dressed is actually quite surprising, though a regular few continued to put their best foot forward. Here’s the list we have compiled of the best dressed red carpet attendees at Emmys 2015.
Wearing a Marc Jacobs flashy frock made Kerry Washington look very different from Olivia Pope in the ABC drama Scandal. The dress was all flashy, but it wasn’t for a moment over-the-top. Trust Washington to strike the perfect balance between gloss and class.
When was the last time this Modern Family actor disappointed on the red carpet? Yes, Never! This lady knows fashion, and knows it well. She knows what exactly suits her body and manages to look sexy every single time. This year she chose a body-hugging St. John gown that accentuated her curves and made her a red carpet winner.
The superstar singer is known for her quirky red carpet appearances. From wearing raw meat to other weird stuffs to red carpet events, Lady Gaga has done it all. But not this time. At Emmys 2015, we saw a Lady Gaga we hardly see. She chose a simple black dress designed by Brandon Maxwell which looked absolutely perfect on her.
The Mad Men star chose a Naeem Khan down for 2015 Emmys. The gown suited her perfectly, accentuating her curves and assets. The beaded gown had metallic overtones and suited the star perfectly.
Sarah Paulson appeared in a Prabal Gurung sequined off-shoulder gown. The straight architectural line across the chest accentuated the beauty of the gown allowing the petite actress to stand out.
This is another Modern Family actor who has learnt the red carpet rules at a very young age and always ups the fashion quotient. This year, the teen actor was seen in a burgundy gown designed by Zac Posen. The gown had a curving neckline and a draped strap that well all around her bare back.
It was an Ulyana Sergeenko jumpsuit for January Jones and she looked absolutely stunning in it. Jones choice of dress was a departure from the gowns we saw at the Emmys this year and probably that’s whatworked so well for her.
Claire Danes chose a Prada for the red carpet. The sparkly gown had cool chain straps which was the highlight of the dress. A definitely thumps up to Danes for her choice this year!
The Alexander Wang dress would traditionally be called the Little Black Dress, but in reality it wasn’t little nor was it just another LBD. The gown had enough sheen and was rightly complemented by the edgy chain straps.
