Apple’s Wednesday event was a spectacular one with some of the biggest announcements being made by the company. In one of the firsts, Apple Inc. announced partnership with Hermèsfor its Apple Watch.
The announcement was made during the press event in Cupertino on Wednesday while the tech giant revealed the Apple Watch Hermès. It is a timepiece that Apple Inc. has created with the iconic French fashion house. The watch features a stainless steel case, interchangeable digital dials and leather straps in several colors.
Three versions of Apple Watch Hermès will be available as of now – Single Tour, a 38 mm single strap watch which will cost $1100while its 42 mm size variant will cost $1150; Double Tour which will have the strap wrap twice around the waist and will come only in one size of 38 mm for $1250; and the Cuff with a thick strap and 42 mm case which will cost $1500. Apple has also released a 18-karat rose gold smartwatch with a midnight blue strap costing $15000.
Another specialty of the watch, as was revealed during the press event, will be the three exclusive interchangeable dials that have been inspired by Hermès’ Clipper, Escape and Cape Cod watches.
These watches will be available to customers from October.
