Singer Iggy Azalea Gets a "Surprise"Engagement Ring

When LA Lakers player Nick Young popped the big question to singer and rapper Iggy Azalea, it was a surprise for her. The proposal happened during Nick aka Swaggy P’s 30th birthday party. The basketball star apparently went down on his one knee to ask the question and got a ‘yes’ for a reply. From the video that’s going viral on social media, Iggy was surprised when Nick popped the question but from the news that just coming in, the proposal was a well-planned one from the player’s end. This has been revealed by jeweler Jason Arasheben, the CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills.
According to Jason, the ring that Nick gave Iggy is an 8.15 carat ring that has a fancy, intense yellow cushion-cut center stone that is surrounded by 2.28 carats of white diamonds and is set in 18 carat white gold. From the revelations made by Jason, it is now clear that the Nick planned the entire thing meticulously. The basketball star made several visits to the jeweler – and from what we here four separate trips – to ensure that the ring was being designed just as he wanted. Jason further revealed that the ring cost a stunning $500,000 and he added that “we wanted it to be both a ring of Iggy’s dreams and a ring that fit her personal style”.
Soon after the engagement, the Australian rapper was prompt in posting pictures on Instagram. She proudly showed off her ring in a series of Instagram snaps. Her snaps on social media proved that her engagement was the ‘happiest day’ of her lie. While she wrote “Love you @swaggyp1,” the basketball star shared his emotions by writing, “She said yes. It's over man. I'm getting married!”
