Miranda Kerr Teams With Swarovski to Launch Jewelry Line

Australian supermodel recently launched her own personally-designed jewelry line for which she teamed up with luxury jewelry makers Swarovski. This is Kerr’s latest business venture after she launched her own brand of organic skincare products called Kora Organics. Her association with Swarovski has been a long-standing one for she has been the face of the jewelry makers since 2013 and thus surprised none. The 32-year-old mother of one showed immense satisfaction of working with the Austrian jewelry makers and was quoted by a leading fashion magazine, “I wanted it to be reflective of myself and my personality and who I am, and [Swarovski] really let me have full creative control."
The jewelry collection, which will be released in late July, has two collaborative lines -Diapason and Duo - and are priced very reasonably at $69. Kerr revealed that it took more than a year just to fine-tune the collection as she wanted everything to be precise. The Swarovski creative director Nathalie Colin told a leading fashion magazine, “She has a very precise point of view.”
Drawing inspiration from what her grandmother told about silver and gold being lucky if worn simultaneously, Kerr created pieces with mixtures of both the metals. Kerr believes that silver and gold are very delicate and girly. She also added little charms and tiny stars in the bracelets and necklaces. The collection also has snowflake charms because according to the Kora Organics founder, “every snowflake is different, and that’s just like us as human beings.”
The supermodel said that she always wanted to create jewelry pieces that had little meanings behind them. She wanted them to be little reminders that everything we do comes from love. The charms and the tiny trinkets hold those meanings, she added.
