Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck Split Rumors - Wedding Ring Comes To The Rescue?

Lately, there has been a lot of rumor that the 10-year-old marriage between Hollywood actors Ben Affleck, 42, and Jennifer Garner, 43, is hitting the rocks. But it looks like there is still hope at the end of this tunnel. Jennifer Garner was recently spotted at LAX wearing not just a brilliant smile but also the wedding ring that was given to her by Affleck 10 years back.
Hopes are seen to be rising not only because Jen was wearing the ring but also because she seemed to be in a good mood. If the smile and the ring are indications that the star couple is trying to mend their strained relationship, nothing like it. According to some insiders confessing to certain sections of the media, the couple is trying hard to save their marriage for the sake of their kids. The couple has three children – daughters Violet Anne (born in December 2005) and Seraphina Rose Elizabeth (born in January 2009) and son Samuel Garner (born in February 2012).
The insider revealed to certain sections of the media that though there is trouble in their marriage and that the rumors are not totally unfounded, it is also true that the couple is trying hard to save the relationship for their kids. From what the insider spilled, it looks like saving the marriage is a priority to the couple and they are taking holidays and birthdays as reminders of the importance of a family. “Jen sees the man that Ben is, the father that he has become and that outweighs the nonsense,” the insider said. Apparently the family also celebrated Father’s Day.
The rumors of the couple splitting began sometime back when some Wetzel & Sons vans were seen outside their Pacific Palisades home in California. Speculations were rife that Ben had been spending nights away from Jen and the divorce would likely happen before they celebrated their 10th anniversary. But later a source close to the couple revealed that certain part of their house was getting renovated and that’s why the vans were seen. The moving vans were simply there to store furniture and clear certain rooms for renovation, the source said.
The rumors about the couple splitting began quite some time back, though no confirmation was available from either party. It is believed that “Ben’s workaholic nature and many vices” were the reason for the split. Despite the rumor mills, the couple has earlier been spotted having lunch with the entire family in Brentwood, Calif last month.
In the past, both Jennifer and Ben have been quite vocal about protecting the privacy of their children and thus it comes as no surprise that they are seeing their children as a priority. Affleck has in the past agreed that attention is “part of the deal” of stardom but he has often spoken against the paparazzi in the interest of his children. The couple had already campaigned earlier for certain legislators to require paparazzi to maintain a certain distance from star-children and possibly blur their faces in published photos.
